  • Throughout the course and with an emphasis on project-based learning, students will be expected to create, edit and evaluate business-related documents, while learning various techniques that will help them develop more efficient and effective communication and critical thinking skills.
  • There are checks for understanding throughout the content. There will also be assignments and a final project that combines all skills learned.

  • Business Information Management II-A (BIM IIA) focuses on the continued development and implementation of personal and interpersonal skills to strengthen individual performance in the workplace and in society. The goal is for students to make a successful transition to the workforce and/or postsecondary education. Students apply technical skills to address business applications of emerging technologies, create complex word-processing documents, develop sophisticated spreadsheets using charts and graphs, and make an electronic presentation using appropriate multimedia software.
