Course Prerequisites:
Students should have completed an Anatomy and Physiology (A) course before enrolling in the (B) course.
Required and Optional Assignments:
This course will include various elements and components to meet the above goals: Web Lessons, Lab Investigations, Discussion Board, Internet Research, Projects,Written Assignments, Database Assignment, and a Semester Exam.
Types of Course Assessments:
Student learning will be assessed using a variety of activities and lessons: discussion boards, lab investigations, lessons, projects, written assignments and exams.
Students will need a campus facilitator to proctor exams, unless otherwise noted by the instructor.
Required Materials Provided by Course Provider outside the Learning Management System:
All resources and materials will be provided through the Guthrie Virtual School learning management system.

Course Description:
In Anatomy and Physiology, students conduct laboratory and field investigations, use scientific methods during investigations, and make informed decisions using critical thinking and scientific problem solving. Students in Anatomy and Physiology study a variety of topics, including the structure and function of the human body and the interaction of body systems for maintaining homeostasis.
